If you’ve been watching TV lately, you may have noticed Bet365′s Bingo heads adverts, where men and women have had their heads replaced with Bingo balls. Imagine if a pack of Skittles grew arms and legs and you’re half way there. Clearly the competition between online bingo sites is hotting up, with sites coming up with new and quirky ways to imprint their brand in our memories.
It would be interesting to hear what you might have to say about the latest offerings of online bingo based adverts. Personally I find the Bet365 advert well made and enticing but perhaps a little too similar to the National Lottery’s, Lotto Ball heads to be that unique.
The latest bingo brand to make a foray into the world of bingo advertising is Virgin Bingo, who’ve spent £500,000 on a marketing campaign to boost the visibility of their brand. The advert takes the viewer to an imaginary bingo factory in the manner of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, where the Virgin staff have replaced the Oompa-Loompas. It’s a wacky idea and all the people to I’ve spoken to on this bingo blog, seem to like it.
